$100M Money Models: Alex Hormozi's 3rd Book! (Honest Look)

Just yesterday got an email from Alex Hormozi with the subject ‘I've got a new book’. Immediately, I opened the email out of curiosity. I expected the name of the book to be $100M Sales…but it is $100M Money Models.

Actually, I saw a tweet on X from someone posting that Alex's new book will be $100M money models…whatever it is…I know this one is going to be another gem.

His $100M series is just a goldmine. I read both $100M Offers and $100M Leads, and I really loved each of them. These two books of the series have literally changed my business.

This is why I am excited about the third book of the series, and I have already pre-ordered the book. Now I am just eagerly waiting for the launch event.

I am writing this post to share everything I have found about this new book. So you can also be as excited as me.

So, What is This New Book, $100M Money Models?

Okay, so the big question is… what is this book about?

From what Alex has shared, $100M Money Models is the third book in his famous $100M series. We all know the first two books were amazing. They teach you how to get customers. This new one seems to be about what you do after you get the customer.

Alex says a good "Money Model" is how you get customers to spend more money with you. Not just one time, but over and over again. And to do it faster.

He said something that really stuck with me: A good Money Model can get customers to pay you 2x, 10x, or even 100x more… in half the time.

Wow. Just think about that. It means you don’t always need more customers. You just need the customers you have to buy more.

This is the secret to making a business fun and not so stressful. Because when you have more money coming in, you have more cash flow. And cash is like oxygen for a business. Without it, the business will fail. Alex is very clear on this. He says if you don't have a good money model, your business will die eventually. But if you have one, you have the thing that keeps it alive: cash flow.

So, this book, $100 Million Money Models, is basically Alex Hormozi’s cookbook for making money. He says it took him more than ten years to learn all this stuff. And he is giving it to us in a book that we can read in like three hours. That is a crazy value.

What is a "Money Model" Exactly?

I was a bit confused at first. What is a money model? Is it like a business plan?

It’s simpler than that. Alex explains it like this: A Money Model is a "deliberate sequence of offers."

What does that mean?

It means you have a plan.

• What you offer to people.
• When you offer it to them.
• How you offer it.

The goal of this plan is to make as much money as you can, as fast as you can. It’s a system. He says the goal is to make enough money from one customer to pay for getting two more new customers. And to do that in less than 30 days.

It’s not just about one single sale. It’s about the whole journey of a customer with your business.

He breaks it down into three stages, which I think is very helpful to understand.

The 3 Stages of a Money Model

This is the core of the book, I think. Alex breaks down his $100M Money Making strategy into three simple parts.

Stage I: Get Cash – Attraction Offers

This is the first step. You need to get customers in the door. These are your "Attraction Offers." The whole point of these offers is to get more customers for less money.

Maybe you are losing a little bit of money on this first offer, or maybe you just break even. That’s okay. The goal is not to get rich on this first sale. The goal is to get a customer.

For example, think about a coffee shop. Maybe they offer your first coffee for just $1. They probably lose money on that coffee. But now you are in their shop. You are a customer. You have their app. They have your email.

Or think about an online business. They might give away a free ebook or a checklist. They pay for ads to give this free thing away. They are not making money yet. They are just attracting people who are interested in what they do.

This first stage is all about getting people into your world. Alex says first, he gets customers reliably. This is that stage.

Stage II: Get More Cash – Upsell & Downsell Offers

Okay, so now you have a customer. What's next?

This is where Stage II comes in. Now you want to make more money from them, and do it fast. This is where you use upsells and downsells.

An upsell is when you offer them something more expensive. Let’s go back to the coffee shop example. You bought the $1 coffee. As you are paying, the person at the counter says, "For just $2 more, would you like one of our amazing croissants? They just came out of the oven." Many people will say yes! So now, instead of spending $1, you spent $3. The coffee shop made a profit.

A downsell is when they say "no" to the upsell, and you offer them something cheaper. So you say no to the $2 croissant. The person at the counter might say, "Okay, no problem. How about a small chocolate for 50 cents?" It's a smaller purchase, but it is still more money than just the $1 coffee. It's better than nothing.

This stage is super important. This is how you make sure that each customer pays for themselves. Alex says he makes sure they pay for themselves reliably. This stage is how he does it.

Stage III: Get The Most Cash – Continuity Offers

This is the final stage. This is about keeping the customer for a long time and maximizing how much they spend with you over their lifetime. This is where "Continuity" comes in.

Continuity means something that happens again and again. Like a subscription or a membership.

Let's go back to our coffee shop. They might offer a "Coffee Club" membership. For $20 a month, you can get one free coffee every day. For the customer, it’s a great deal. For the coffee shop, it’s amazing. They get $20 every month from you, whether you come in every day or not. It’s a reliable, predictable income.

This is how you get the most cash from each customer. You turn a one-time buyer into a long-term fan who pays you every month or every year. This is the stage where your business can really grow and become stable.

So the whole process looks like this:

1. Get a customer with a cheap or free offer.
2. Immediately offer them something more (upsell) to make a profit.
3. Later, offer them a membership or subscription to keep them paying for a long time.

It’s a simple idea, but very powerful.
